About User Persona

A user-persona framework covering goals, pain points, technology context, behavior, and a narrative profile.

What’s included

  • Narrative profile
  • Objectives and pain points
  • Device, browser, behavior, and personality-context sections

How to use it in practice

Build a profile from relevant research and label assumptions clearly. Include technology and behavior details only where they affect a design decision. Test the profile against real user situations and update it when new evidence contradicts the initial picture.

Set it up in your workspace

  1. Open the original Notion Marketplace listing and add the template to your chosen workspace while signed in. Keep its example records until you understand how the pages connect.
  2. Build a profile from relevant research and label assumptions clearly.
  3. Try one complete example before adding a large backlog. Check that its views and any calculations show what you expect, then replace the sample content with your own.

Who it suits and what to consider

UX, product, and marketing teams discussing a research-based user context. A detailed fictional biography is not a substitute for research and can introduce unsupported stereotypes.

Questions about this template

Should I fill every personality field?+

Use fields that your evidence supports and that affect the work. Leave uncertain details visible rather than inventing traits to make the persona seem complete.

Is User Persona free?+

The linked creator page offered a free version when checked. A creator may also offer tips, paid upgrades, or bundles. Choose the version described here and check the current checkout terms before completing the download.

Can I change the template after adding it to Notion?+

You can edit your own copy: replace example content, rename pages, and adapt the layout. Keep a spare copy before changing linked databases, formulas, or buttons. Redistribution and resale depend on the creator’s license, even when the download is free.
