About Curriculum Coverage Tracker

A standards tracker that connects delivered lessons to curriculum codes and calculates how often each standard has been taught and when it was last covered.

What’s included

  • Linked Standards and Lessons Taught databases
  • Times Taught and Last Taught calculations
  • Gaps by Unit chart

How to use it in practice

Enter the standards for one unit and link each completed lesson to the codes it addressed. Add the actual delivery date so the coverage count reflects teaching that happened. Review gaps before planning the next unit, while there is still time to respond.

Set it up in your workspace

  1. Open the original Notion Marketplace listing and add the template to your chosen workspace while signed in. Keep its example records until you understand how the pages connect.
  2. Enter the standards for one unit and link each completed lesson to the codes it addressed.
  3. Try one complete example before adding a large backlog. Check that its views and any calculations show what you expect, then replace the sample content with your own.

Who it suits and what to consider

Teachers reviewing coverage across units and looking for standards missed during a term. Coverage records show that a standard was addressed. They do not measure individual understanding, so keep assessment evidence alongside your own teaching records.

Questions about this template

Do planned lessons count toward coverage?+

The creator states that a lesson needs a real date to count. Use dated records for delivered lessons and keep future plans separate from the coverage evidence.

Is Curriculum Coverage Tracker free?+

The linked creator page offered a free version when checked. A creator may also offer tips, paid upgrades, or bundles. Choose the version described here and check the current checkout terms before completing the download.

Can I change the template after adding it to Notion?+

You can edit your own copy: replace example content, rename pages, and adapt the layout. Keep a spare copy before changing linked databases, formulas, or buttons. Redistribution and resale depend on the creator’s license, even when the download is free.
