About One-Page Business Plan

A one-page plan makes it easier to see the assumptions behind an idea. This template is a compact alternative to a large business workspace. Use plain language and keep the next real-world test close to the plan so it remains something you act on.

What’s included

  • Seven prompts covering offer, buyer, problem, channels, differentiation, price, and payment
  • Revenue scenarios
  • A 30-day execution plan and optional launch date

How to use it in practice

Complete the prompts for one specific offer and buyer. Write assumptions in plain language and choose a real-world test for the least certain one. Use the 30-day plan for actions that help you learn or deliver, then revisit the revenue scenarios after you have evidence. Keep the summary short enough to explain to a potential customer.

Set it up in your workspace

  1. Open the original Notion Marketplace listing and add the template to your chosen workspace while signed in. Keep its example records until you understand how the pages connect.
  2. Describe the customer, the offer, and the next test. Review the page after you learn something from a real conversation.
  3. Try one complete example before adding a large backlog. Check that its views and any calculations show what you expect, then replace the sample content with your own.

Who it suits and what to consider

People testing an early offer or side project. Useful for quickly clarifying an early idea. The projection scenarios are planning assumptions and should remain distinguishable from actual results.

Questions about this template

How detailed should the first version be?+

Answer the seven questions clearly and briefly. Add detail when it helps test the offer or make a decision, rather than filling the page for its own sake.

Is One-Page Business Plan free?+

The linked creator page offered a free version when checked. A creator may also offer tips, paid upgrades, or bundles. Choose the version described here and check the current checkout terms before completing the download.

Can I change the template after adding it to Notion?+

You can edit your own copy: replace example content, rename pages, and adapt the layout. Keep a spare copy before changing linked databases, formulas, or buttons. Redistribution and resale depend on the creator’s license, even when the download is free.
