About Eisenhower Matrix - Prioritization of your tasks
A four-quadrant task matrix for separating urgency from importance before choosing what to do next.
What’s included
- Urgent and important quadrant
- Important but less urgent planning area
- Delegation and elimination categories
How to use it in practice
Sort a small current task list and explain why each item belongs in its quadrant. Schedule important preparation work before it becomes urgent. Revisit the decisions when circumstances change and delegate only where someone has the capacity and authority to take the work.
Set it up in your workspace
- Open the original Notion Marketplace listing and add the template to your chosen workspace while signed in. Keep its example records until you understand how the pages connect.
- Sort a small current task list and explain why each item belongs in its quadrant.
- Try one complete example before adding a large backlog. Check that its views and any calculations show what you expect, then replace the sample content with your own.
Who it suits and what to consider
People reviewing competing tasks with a straightforward prioritization framework. Quadrant placement requires judgment; a task’s apparent urgency does not by itself establish its value.
