About Student Attendance & Absence Tracker
A student-facing absence log that records missed sessions, reasons, catch-up work, and follow-up status, so an absence can lead to a clear recovery plan.
What’s included
- Attendance and absence database
- Missed work, reasons, and notes
- Open catch-up work and completed follow-up views
How to use it in practice
Add a class you missed and identify the actual material or assignment that needs attention. Give the catch-up work a next action, then mark it complete only when the missing work is resolved. Review recent absences before the next class to avoid repeating a gap.
Set it up in your workspace
- Open the original Notion Marketplace listing and add the template to your chosen workspace while signed in. Keep its example records until you understand how the pages connect.
- Add a class you missed and identify the actual material or assignment that needs attention.
- Try one complete example before adding a large backlog. Check that its views and any calculations show what you expect, then replace the sample content with your own.
Who it suits and what to consider
Students and families keeping track of missed classes and the work still outstanding. This is a personal recovery tracker aimed at students. It is different from a teacher’s official class register or an institution’s attendance-reporting system.
