About User and Customer Persona
Describe user and customer personas in Notion with demographics, behavior, interests, pain points, motivations, and audience segments.
What’s included
- User demographic and behavior profiles
- Interests and motivation sections
- Pain-point documentation
- Persona and audience segmentation structure
How to use it in practice
Start with an audience you have evidence about and record the behaviors relevant to your product. Add the main pain points with their supporting research, then label any assumptions that remain untested. Review the profile when customer evidence changes rather than letting a fictional biography stand in for research.
Set it up in your workspace
- Open the original Notion Marketplace listing and add the template to your chosen workspace while signed in. Keep its example records until you understand how the pages connect.
- Start with an audience you have evidence about and record the behaviors relevant to your product.
- Try one complete example before adding a large backlog. Check that its views and any calculations show what you expect, then replace the sample content with your own.
Who it suits and what to consider
Marketers and product teams keeping a concise account of a researched audience. A completed persona does not establish what customers need. Keep stereotypes and unsupported demographic assumptions out of decisions about real users.
