About Volunteer Management: Events, Registration & Hours
A volunteer event hub combining a public opportunity list and signup form with private event administration, attendance records, contacts, and hours summaries.
What’s included
- Public event information and signup form
- Private event and attendance administration
- Hours tracking by volunteer and event
How to use it in practice
Create a sample event and submit a test registration through the public view. Check the confirmation record and the private fields before sharing it. After the event, reconcile attendance and hours with what actually happened so registration totals are not mistaken for completed participation.
Set it up in your workspace
- Open the original Notion Marketplace listing and add the template to your chosen workspace while signed in. Keep its example records until you understand how the pages connect.
- Create a sample event and submit a test registration through the public view.
- Try one complete example before adding a large backlog. Check that its views and any calculations show what you expect, then replace the sample content with your own.
Who it suits and what to consider
Community organizations coordinating registrations and volunteer work across events. A waiver acknowledgment field does not establish legal sufficiency or replace the process your organization needs. Review public and private access carefully before collecting volunteer information.
